LOLA´s privileged location
- On attractive square in historic centre
- Lessons in a restored convent
- Modern, bright classrooms with spectacular views
LOLA is in a privileged location. We are in the historic centre of Salamanca, steps from the beautiful San Esteban Convent where the triad of Christopher Colombus, the Domenican friars and the Catholic Kings sealed the deal which was to result in the Discovery of the Americas.
All the buildings in this area are built with the traditional golden sandstone that characterizes Salamanca’s old part and contrasts so prettily with its perennial blue skies. Lessons are taken in a converted convent which today is home to a Spanish high school on the lower floors, LOLA occupying an upper wing with stunning views of the old town.
The Lola offices are on a lovely square with tall trees where students sit during lesson breaks and stock up at the sweetie/drinks shop. There are two or three cafes/tapas bars where teacher chaperones enjoy a coffee and chat. As well as being conveniently close to the main sights, there is plenty of space to meet and brief groups.
Our fully fitted classrooms are on the upper wing of a beautiful cloistered building 50 metres from our attractive offices.
